PROJECT DETAIL

Area: 253 sq meter
Location: Haiphong, Vietnam

The client wanted to have a modern house with luxury interior spaces. The architectural solution is demanded to be energy efficient with careful consideration about the extreme sunlight effects on the West side while the rooms need to remain opened to the garden around the house. The plot is rectangular with comfortable accesses from Northwest & Northeast sides. The house is placed close to the inner corner to reserve the front area for garden. Main interior spaces are opened to the garden to take in South east cool air flows. Opennings on the West side are refrained due to the extreme sunlight. Wooden sun blinds are also used at the opennings on this side.

The rooms are well interconnected to bring the ease of use and family atmosphere to the interior while they are still smoothly devided by the furniture. The nature is welcomed to the spaces as all rooms are openned to the garden.
